kinetic typography
My kinetic typography is titled Roll call, because the choice of my song was roll call by logic. I used adobe after affects to create this final project. the content of my work was supposed to be fast paced and for the text to be shown as fast as the song and the lyrics to match the tempo. What i liked about my final project was that it was that i timed it really well as it was such a fast paced song which created a challenge for my self to complete with a good feeling of accomplishment. I would change how the text transitioned also i would change the sizes of the font from word to word and give them more expression while being fast paced. My design choices were that i knew it was a very fast paced song so i had to make it simple but look good so i just made all the words transition as fast as possible and made sure every lyric matched with every word i added so it looked clean. The challenges i overcame were making sure every word matched with the lyric in the song and to make all the text the exact same was a challenge and i didn't really overcome that issue and thats why i got the mark i got so , I was satisfied with the transition and basically it tying up smoothly throughout the video but i know a few touchups are needed and i need to improve many things for upcoming projects.

OCAD
Our CyberARTS year 2 went to OCAD for our school trip, the three exhibits i was most interested in was photography, sculpturing and graphic design. I only found one sculpture that i really enjoyed because it was made with earth materials and man made materials. I think its creative and different then everything else i saw.. Artists name was not provided.

illustrator drawing
I chose the file format "PNG" because it puts through the best quality of all of the other formats, also PNG pops the colour out with it looking the most realistic as possible.
I created this illustrator drawing starting from the outline working my way into the screen and button, I tried to take a minimal amount of points as possible because all i really had to do was put a point down press on the next point and curve each corner and after that it was straight forward with easier straighter lines to deal with.
my steps to complete the vector drawing-
1) find a image that is not very hard to outline
2)open it into illustrator
3)pick the pen tool and start tracing from the outside in
4) when i was satisfied id save it to a png and place in drop off
A few challenges i overcame was getting used to the pen tool because it is a very difficult tool to use when you aren't very used to it but at the same you want it to be perfect was really hard, i overcame my challenge with just keep on going without stopping and or being satisfied.
5) I am pleased with my final result, I think i did a decent job.

Stop Motion
Our Stop-motion Animation was the story of two graffiti
artist and one friend. One day they went to do graffiti on the train tracks.
After finishing their graffiti art they step back to take a look at their work
when one of them steps in to the path of a on coming train. The other graffiti
artist is devastated at is friend lying with no legs, as they start to lose
hope a super hero comes in to save the day taking the hurt friend to the
hospital.
We use sad music to create a sad feeling in the viewer. We think
the music worked really well with the video. It added an emotion to the animation instead of it just
being some random song.
